*stretch*yawn*

Ahh time for a break.

I've got a 5 page minimum (so of course I need to write at least six ^_~) research paper due Friday. That's what I've been working on for the last few days. I spent hours searching for sources because I needed five... so far I've only got four so I have no idea what I'm going to do about that. Then I finally made a tentative outline, and now I've started my rough draft. It's up to a little over three pages now. Oh, my topic is "The uses and dangers of artificial sweeteners". It's actually kind of interesting. Although I wish I could have done it on something pertaining to history or art or literature or philosophy... but since my major is Food Science and Nutrition, I suppose it's only natural that I have to write papers on things pertaining to food.

I also have a test tomorrow in my consumer education class, that I'm not 100% prepared for, but that I have every confidence in receiving at least a B in as long as I put some effort into it.

I've allowed my grades to slip a bit over the last two months, so now I really need to apply myself. I'm hoping that the new-found discipline techniques that I've required will allow me to discontinue that procrastinating habit and make even better grades in the following semesters.

I'm skipping two midterms today that I'm not prepared for in the desperate hope that my professors will allow me to take them tomorrow.
What the hell is going on with me?

Sorry. I've been so caught up in all the stuff I have to do.

Grades thus far:

Chemistry : B
Food Preperation: C
Consumer Education: B
Meal Management: A

*sigh* It's not nearly good enough. I'm going to have to start staying up a lot later to study if this is the best I can manage.

Chemistry Lab: 18/20
I haven't gone to pick up my chemistry assignment yet, and I never handed in my calculus assignment.

I hope to get 20/20 for this weeks chem lab, and at least 80% in my assignments.

How do you people stay on track?
There is nothing I want more in life than to be perfect... and yet, I can't seem to let myself be :x
» entering week 8 of 14 or 15
I'm not going to try to catch everyone up on what's going on, but suffice to say, last week was spring break. I was going to catch up on everything that I fell behind on.
It's 5:40 a.m. on the first day of class after break, and I've done maybe 5% of what I needed to do.
I should think of some sort of way to keep myself on the harshest of schedules this week, or I'll fail my English comp class.
It's really true that most of the year I'm not depressed. But when a school term crawls towards its end, I get depressed like you wouldn't believe, and the only medicine that'll do anything for me is me doing well in my classes.

And I'd like to apologize to everyone for my poor moderatorship, both in duties and example.
» Bad marks
I got some work back today. For my Studies of society I recieved 72%, 60% and 60% for my first three formative peices of work.

For my psychology formative test I recieved a 68%.

These marks are unacceptable, I will improve...I have to improve...
» Update!
I hate being sick.
I got my results for my latest Chem assignment back. 16/25. Blah.
I didn't even do my Calculus one for that week. I slept.

And now I only have tonight to finish this weeks chemistry AND calculus assignments.
Today is the last day my doctors certificate will cover me, unless I go back to the doctor, which will cost me another $35 that I dont have.

I want so much to be able to work hard. But somehow, even if I put in hours of work, it makes no difference.

I've been so slack. I'm unhappy.

Any tips?

I just got one of my chemistry assignments back...and I received 20/25 :( There is a lot of room for improvement. The top mark of the class was 23/25.

Tomorrow the(Summative) Quick Study Questions on Eva Luna is due and I have done a rough copy and am mucking around with it to make it flow nicer.

Tonight I am going to be:

*Completing my chemistry review assignment (19 q's) due Monday
*Studying for Tomorrows (Formative) Psychology test on Social cognition
*Printing of a perfect piece of work for my Quick Study Questions :P
*Working through and finishing exercise 2A q's 1-13, 2B q's 1-4, 2C.1 q's 1-3and 2C.2 q's 1-5 in Math Studies which has no due date as we just work through the book

Due/test/important dates known at this moment:
17/3: English Quick study q's & Psychology test
21/3: (Summative) Math test on chapter 2 Exercise 2A and 2B Coordinate systems/geometry
13/4: Supporting Study for text two should be finished
12-16/6: Midyear exams
24-28/7: Work experience shadowing a nurse
15/9: Aim to finish and hand up English Independent study (30% of grade)
22/9: English Independent study due
26/10: Last day of year 12

Well, I have another hour of home study left and I will now muck around with my English work.

P.s...I love this community...it is helping me organize much better, and it motivates me more!
